The role ensures reliable, secure, and high-performance connectivity across business systems and locations.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and network infrastructure.Install and configure routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and network devices.Monitor network performance, availability, traffic, and capacity.Troubleshoot network connectivity, hardware, configuration, and performance issues.Perform network upgrades, maintenance, configuration changes, and optimization.Manage IP addressing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, and network services.Implement network security controls, access policies, and security best practices.Respond to network incidents and minimize service interruptions.Conduct network testing, performance analysis, and fault diagnosis.Maintain network diagrams, configurations, technical records, and documentation.Coordinate with IT, cybersecurity, telecom teams, vendors, and service providers.Support network backup, disaster recovery, and business-continuity requirements.Assist with network migrations, expansions, integrations, and infrastructure projects.Evaluate new technologies and recommend suitable network solutions.Identify opportunities to improve network security, reliability, performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.Previous experience in network engineering, network administration, or IT infrastructure.Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols.Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar networking technologies.Knowledge of firewalls, network security, access controls, and monitoring tools.Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting platforms.Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are advantageous.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Ability to interpret network diagrams and technical documentation.Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple incidents, projects, and technical priorities.Professional, reliable, proactive, organized, and detail-oriented.
