Location: UAEEmployment Type: Full-time, On-siteCompany DescriptionIntertech Vision is a leading company specializing in control room solutions, with more than 550 installations across the region.We design and provide professional control room solutions for airports, airlines, telecommunications, traffic, utilities, security, surveillance, process control, broadcast, and military and defense sectors.Intertech Vision works with leading international manufacturers and operates under ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2022 standards.Role DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our Technical Team in the UAE.The role will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, supporting, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure used within customer sites and mission-critical control room environments.The candidate will work with network switches, routers, servers, workstations, video wall controllers, encoders, decoders, and other control room technologies.The role requires a strong understanding of networking fundamentals as well as the ability to troubleshoot systems involving Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, network infrastructure, and specialized visualization technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure, maintain, troubleshoot, and support network infrastructure.Configure and support network switches, routers, VLANs, and related network services.Troubleshoot TCP/IP, switching, routing, and network connectivity issues.Support Microsoft Windows Server environments.Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.Troubleshoot network-related issues involving servers and workstations.Support network connectivity for video wall controllers, encoders, decoders, and control room systems.Diagnose hardware, software, and network-related technical issues.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for customer systems.Provide on-site technical support at customer locations.Provide remote technical support when required.Support system installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning activities.Maintain accurate system and network configuration records.Prepare technical reports, service reports, and troubleshooting documentation.Coordinate with internal technical teams, project teams, and customers when required.Travel to customer sites when required for installation, maintenance, and technical support activities.RequirementsCCNA certification is required.Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, routing, and network troubleshooting.Practical knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments.Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.Experience configuring and troubleshooting network switches and routers.Experience working with enterprise network infrastructure.Good understanding of network security and infrastructure best practices.Strong hardware, software, and network troubleshooting skills.Ability to identify and resolve technical issues independently.Good technical documentation skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a technical team.Willingness to travel to customer sites and perform field service activities.Preferred ExperienceExperience in Control Room, Video Wall, AV/ICT, or Mission-Critical Visualization Solutions will be considered a strong advantage.Experience working with any of the following technologies is preferred:Barco systemsVideo wall controllersEncoders and decodersCMS platformsControl room networksAV-over-IP technologiesMission-critical visualization systemsSimilar professional AV/ICT infrastructure
