Network Engineer, Information Technology

Job Responsibilities

Plan and implement physical and logical network layouts, including rack optimization, structured cabling, and power distribution for seamless IT infrastructure operationsManage the end-to-end installation and commissioning of servers, network equipment, power systems, and related hardwarePerform routine maintenance and upgrades on networking and power equipment (including online UPS systems) ensuring high availabilityEnsure physical IT infrastructure complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and corporate security best practicesProvide Level 1 and Level 2 troubleshooting for connectivity issues, hardware failures, and performance bottlenecks to maintain uninterrupted operationsAct as the technical point of contact during infrastructure-related emergencies such as outages, hardware failures, or thermal incidentsCoordinate with third-party vendors to deliver infrastructure projects on time and within scopeMaintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of infrastructure diagrams, assets, network layouts, and operational proceduresWork closely with cross-functional IT teams and business stakeholders to align network infrastructure with organizational requirementsTravel to company locations as needed to audit, deploy, and manage network infrastructure components directlySafeguarding Responsibilities:Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementationAct as a key source of support, guidance and expertise in safeguarding for establishing a safe working environmentPractice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of actionFollow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so

Qualifications

Education:A Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science and Engineering, or a related discipline from any reputed universityExperience Requirements:Minimum 4 year of relevant experienceSalary and Other Benefits:Salary: As per company policy
