CCDS is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team for a one-year, project-based contract in Sohar, Oman.Employment Details:Location: Sohar, OmanContract Type: One-year project-based contractWork Arrangement: Full-time, on-siteKey Responsibilities:Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network security solutionsAdminister and optimize Palo Alto and Fortinet security productsMonitor network performance, security events, and potential threatsImplement firewall policies, VPNs, routing, switching, and access-control rulesInvestigate network and security incidents and provide timely resolutionsPerform system upgrades, security hardening, and configuration reviewsMaintain accurate technical documentation and operational reportsCoordinate with project teams, vendors, and customers to meet service requirementsRequirementsMandatory Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related disciplineProven professional experience in network security engineeringStrong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and security solutionsSolid experience with Fortinet technologiesStrong knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs, network protocols, and firewall managementExcellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skillsAbility to work full-time and on-site in Sohar, OmanMandatory Certifications:Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)Fortinet NSE 7
