Apply & track with Apply EdgeDescription:At Folk Maritime, we are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Network Sr. Analyst to help optimize our network, strengthen strategic partnerships, and drive data-informed decision-making across our shipping operations. The role focuses on slot utilization analysis, network performance, partnership management, market intelligence, and identifying opportunities to enhance profitability and network coverage.Responsibilities:Analyze slot utilization, capacity allocation, and partnership performance to identify optimization opportunities.Monitor Main Line Operators (MLOs), feeder operators, and market capacity developments to identify strategic partnerships and network synergies.Evaluate Vessel Sharing Agreements (VSAs), slot-sharing arrangements, and network partnership performance.Support the implementation and ongoing review of operational agreements and contracts.Prepare business cases, feasibility studies, cost analyses, and network performance reports.Monitor slot-related costs, invoicing, and payment accuracy while supporting cost-control initiatives.Provide recommendations to improve utilization, reduce costs, and enhance revenue opportunities.Track competitor network developments and proactively highlight market opportunities.Collaborate with Trade, Marine, Finance, and external partners to ensure smooth execution and contractual compliance.Qualification & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, or a related field.2–5 years of experience in container shipping, liner shipping, network planning, capacity management, trade analysis, or commercial shipping.Experience with Vessel Sharing Agreements (VSAs), slot-sharing agreements, network partnerships, or capacity management is highly desirable.Strong analytical and quantitative skills.Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.Understanding of vessel operations, shipping economics, network deployment, and trade dynamics.Strong English communication skills.
