This role includes supervising network support staff, assigning and reviewing work, and ensuring timely resolution of network incidents and service requests. The Network Supervisor monitors network performance, coordinates maintenance and upgrades, and collaborates with IT leaders to implement best practices for security, reliability, and scalability. The role also involves documenting procedures, maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory standards, and communicating clearly with stakeholders about network changes and impacts. The Network Supervisor supports a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring team members, identifying process enhancements, and contributing to technology planning.Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in network administration and support, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks.Experience supervising or leading technical teams, with skills in workload management, coaching, performance feedback, and staff development.Knowledge of network security principles and tools, including access control, encryption, vulnerability management, and compliance with organizational policies.Familiarity with enterprise network technologies and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP) and relevant monitoring or ticketing systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to diagnose complex issues and implement effective, sustainable solutions.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across clinical, administrative, and technical teams and explain technical concepts in clear terms.Ability to work on-site in Greater Philadelphia, manage multiple priorities, and support a 24/7 healthcare environment as needed.Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Network+, Security+) and experience in healthcare or other regulated industries are beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
