WE CELEBRATE YOU!We are actively hiring an New Patient Navigator to support our Valkyrie Clinical Trials Denver, Colorado site.LOCATION: Onsite, Denver, ColoradoHours: Full Time, Mon-Fri 40 hours per week (day shift)Compensation: $70,000-$100,000 (depending on experience)The New Patient Navigator is responsible for developing and maintaining outreach and engagement strategies to enhance the Site's patient care and enrollment efforts while ensuring a seamless new patient experience. This role focuses on identifying and cultivating partnerships with physician referral sources, engaging with and scheduling new patients, and assisting with the tracking of trial slot availability and fulfillment.Physician & Community Partnership Development (Primary Area of Focus)Develop and implement outreach strategies to identify partnerships and potential oncology clinical trial participants. Identify and cultivate new physician partnerships and maintain relationships with existing partners to support trial enrollment and patient care efforts. Act as a liaison between the Site and community organizations to foster collaboration. Engage with community organizations with diverse populations to raise awareness about oncology clinical trials. Assist the Site and Medical Director in identifying potential partnerships. Patient Navigation & Enrollment SupportSupport trial enrollment and patient care efforts by effectively communicating with new patients in a timely fashion. Responsible for the scheduling and coordination of the initial new patient consult visits. Ensure the collection and uploading of all necessary new patient medical records. Maintain effective patient and team communication from referral intake through trial enrollment and first treatment, as appropriate. Ensure the effective handover to assigned CRC upon commencement of Cycle 1 Day 1 treatment. Provide new patient trial status to referring physician upon confirmation of enrollment or screen failure. Assist with any other scheduling needs during screening period Systems, Coordination & ReportingBecome proficient in the regular use of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) to enter and manage patient information accurately. Work closely with Principal Investigators and Clinical Research Team to ensure slot availability and matching potential patients for screening. Track all referrals and referral sources to provide regular reports and updates to physicians and practice partnerships. Provide support in generating and reviewing periodic reports for Site and Medical Directors. General ResponsibilitiesAdapt to additional responsibilities as required by the evolving needs of the organization and as determined by leadership. Represent Flourish Research in a professional and courteous manner (verbal, written, and in appearance) when interacting with all staff, clients, and vendors. Additional duties as assigned by management. RequirementsPhysical Requirements and/or Environmental Factors:Work is normally performed in a typical interior clinical/office work environment. Daily computer use. Frequent verbal and written communication. Occasional evening and weekend work schedules. Ability to properly lift thirty-five pounds and occasionally more than thirty-five pounds. Ability to drive and travel locally. Minimum Requirements:Education:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Experience:At least 5 years' experience to include working directly with patients and physician partnerships or account relationship management. Prior Oncology experience and exposure to clinical research preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Core Competencies:Proven organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Strong time-management, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills (both written and oral). Effective and well-developed interpersonal abilities, including ability to foster strong working relationships and influence various stakeholders. Excellent computer skills to include Office365 products. Ability to work independently and professionally, with a high degree of urgency and self-motivation. Demonstrated ability to collaborate and align with operations. Demonstrated decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines. Strong work ethic and dedication to quality patient care. Understanding of clinical research processes.
