New Product Development Specialist

Job PurposeTo develop and improve food products for dairy, bakery, and beverage applications, ensuring product quality, food safety, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop new fruit-based and non-fruit-based products according to customer requirements.Prepare product samples and conduct laboratory trials.Improve existing products in terms of taste, texture, quality, shelf life, and cost.Conduct stability tests and support product scale-up from laboratory to industrial production.Create and update product recipes and technical specifications.Participate in new product development and innovation projects.Organize sensory evaluations and analyze feedback.Research food industry trends, ingredients, and new technologies.Work with customers to develop customized product solutions.Provide technical support to Sales and Marketing teams.Collaborate with Production, Quality, Procurement, and other departments.Ensure products comply with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.Maintain accurate records of trials, formulations, and test results.Identify opportunities to improve products and processes.Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in food science, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Science, or a related field.2–4 years of experience in R&D, product development, or food applications, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.Good knowledge of food ingredients, product formulation, laboratory testing, food safety, quality standards, and shelf-life testing.Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, organization, and time management skills, with attention to detail and a willingness to learn.Good command of English, both written and spoken, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
