The News Anchor will present news stories, host discussions, and conduct interviews on camera for Talktiv’s YouTube content. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and preparing scripts, collaborating with producers on story angles, and delivering live or recorded segments with clarity and confidence. The role involves staying updated on global news and geopolitics, contributing to editorial meetings, and ensuring accurate, unbiased reporting. The News Anchor will also support content planning and may participate in promotional or audience engagement activities as needed.Qualifications Candidates should possess Reporting and News Writing skills to research, structure, and present accurate and engaging stories.Candidates should possess Broadcasting and Presenter skills to deliver content clearly, confidently, and professionally on camera.Candidates should possess Broadcast Journalism skills to apply journalistic standards, ethics, and editorial judgment in a video format.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex geopolitical topics in accessible language.Demonstrated interest or background in international relations, political science, journalism, or a related field.Comfort working in a studio environment in Kolkata, with the ability to collaborate effectively with production and editorial teams.Previous experience in news anchoring, reporting, or digital video content creation is an advantage.Ability to work flexible hours aligned with news cycles and production schedules.
