The intern will support the preparation and presentation of news segments, including researching current events, drafting scripts, and rehearsing for recorded or live broadcasts. Day-to-day tasks may include coordinating with editors and reporters, reviewing news briefs, participating in editorial meetings, and assisting in the development of engaging news stories tailored to digital and video formats. The intern will also help ensure adherence to journalistic ethics, editorial guidelines, and accurate reporting while gaining hands-on experience in digital news production and on-camera presentation.Qualifications Strong news writing and scriptwriting skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely for broadcast and digital platforms.Demonstrated interest in journalism, current affairs, and Middle East news, with basic research and fact-checking abilities.Confident on-camera presence, clear speaking voice, and ability to present news in a professional, neutral, and engaging manner.Basic familiarity with digital media tools, video platforms, and social media channels used for news distribution.Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.Enrollment in or recent completion of a program in journalism, media studies, communications, or a related field is preferred.Fluency in English is required; additional language skills relevant to the region are an advantage.Commitment to ethical reporting, non-discriminatory practices, and adherence to professional journalistic standards.
