Next.js Lead Developer

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Next.js Lead Developer to drive the design, development, and delivery of high-performance web applications. This role requires strong technical expertise in modern frontend technologies, leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.You will be responsible for building scalable applications, mentoring developers, and ensuring best practices in code quality, performance, and architecture.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development of web applications using Next.js, React, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworksDesign and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance frontend architecturesCollaborate with backend teams, designers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutionsOptimize applications for maximum speed, SEO, and performanceEstablish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development workflowsConduct code reviews and mentor junior/mid-level developersIntegrate APIs, third-party services, and headless CMS platformsEnsure cross-browser compatibility and responsive designTroubleshoot and debug complex production issuesStay updated with the latest frontend and Next.js ecosystem trendsRequired Skills & Qualifications6+ years of experience in frontend development3+ years of hands-on experience with Next.js and ReactStrong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScriptExperience with SSR (Server-Side Rendering), SSG (Static Site Generation), and API routesSolid understanding of web performance optimization and SEO best practicesExperience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, etc.)Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQLStrong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive designExperience with version control tools like GitExcellent problem-solving and leadership skills
