With its avant -garde superyacht inspired design, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab completes the nautical trilogy alongside the wave -shaped Jumeirah Beach Hotel and the iconic sail -inspired Jumeirah Burj Al Arab.About the JobThe main duties and responsibilities of this role include:Be fully aware of and able to handle emergency procedures as defined in the Emergency Evacuation Operations Plan.Mediate with the Night Auditor to balance the day's revenues, ensure accurate entry of rate codes, discounts, and other financial details in Opera, and print necessary back-up reports before the system closes for the day.Handle visitors professionally during the night shift in coordination with security, ensuring the privacy and security of all guests.Record major incidents and important information in the Duty Manager’s logbook and ensure the timely and correct completion of the CID report.Handle booking out guests in case of overbooking and arrange emergency visas for guests when necessary.Conduct appraisals and Bi-Yearly Feedback Sessions as allocated by the Director of Rooms, ensuring continuous staff development and performance improvement.About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Extensive experience in similar role in a 5-star hotel.Bachelor’s Degree of Hospitality or relevant field from an accredited and renowned UniversityStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Opera (Cloud).Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.Confident in successfully handling complaints of various severity.About the BenefitsAt Jumeirah, we are dedicated to fostering a workplace where colleagues feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
