Joining Birbal AI means contributing to the future of digital ownership and borderless, AI-driven financial ecosystems.Role Description: The NLP & LLM Engineering Specialist will design, develop, and optimize natural language processing pipelines and large language model (LLM) solutions that power Birbal AI’s ownership and digital finance platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching state-of-the-art NLP and LLM architectures, fine-tuning models on proprietary datasets, building robust APIs and microservices, and integrating models into production systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and safety. The specialist will collaborate closely with product, data, and blockchain engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions, conduct experiments, evaluate model performance, and implement continuous improvements. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Al Muwaij'i, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.Qualifications:Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for cross-functional collaboration, documentation, and presenting technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.Candidates should possess excellent Analytical Skills, including problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and model evaluation using quantitative metrics.Candidates should possess solid Project Management capabilities to plan, prioritize, and deliver NLP and LLM initiatives on time and within scope.Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering if they have worked on AI solutions related to industrial or physical systems; such domain knowledge is considered a plus.Candidates should have hands-on experience with NLP and LLMs, including Python, deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), transformers, embeddings, and prompt engineering.Candidates should be familiar with MLOps practices, model deployment, monitoring, and optimization in cloud or containerized environments.A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field is preferred.Experience working with blockchain-based or fintech products, and an understanding of security, privacy, and ethical AI considerations, is highly beneficial.
