NOC Specialist (L1/L2 Monitoring)

Overview:The NOC Specialist is responsible for supporting the 24/7 monitoring, detection, and initial response for enterprise IT infrastructure and services. Operating within the Network Operations Center, this role ensures continuous service availability by proactively monitoring systems, accurately triaging alerts, and resolving or escalating incidents according to defined procedures.Key Responsibilities:Provide continuous Level 1 and Level 2 monitoring of network, server, and application health through centralized NOC tools and dashboards.Ensure timely acknowledgment, logging, and classification of all alarms and incidents to meet SLA targets and minimize business impact.Resolve routine technical issues and service requests using standard operating procedures and runbooks, escalating complex problems to Level 3 or specialized network teams when necessary.Execute approved maintenance checks, system restarts, backup verifications, and failover procedures during scheduled windows or emergency recovery scenarios.Support incident and problem management processes by documenting diagnostic findings, coordinating with field engineers, and maintaining clear communication during major outages.Talent Profile:Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA, ITIL) are preferred.2–4 years of experience in a NOC, SOC, or IT support environment with direct exposure to both L1 (alert triage) and L2 (diagnosis and procedure-based resolution) functions.Foundational knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP), operating systems (Windows/Linux), and IT service management (ITSM) platforms.Hands-on experience with monitoring and ticketing tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Datadog, ServiceNow, or Splunk.Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a 24/7 shift-based operations centerJob Nature:SITE, Project-Based.In addition to the monthly salary, SITE provides you these Benefits:Social allowance.Mobile allowance.Medical Insurance employee, his/her family, and parents.
