NPD – Process Design & Development Engineer

About the RoleArete Circle LLP is recruiting for a leading manufacturing organisation in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, for an NPD – Process Design & Development Engineer.Qualification: B.E. Mechanical Engineering or DiplomaExperience: 5–10 yearsKey ResponsibilitiesConduct feasibility studies for new customer RFQs and estimate costs based on mass, cycle time and machine-hour rate.Prepare project risk analyses and mitigation plans.Interpret customer drawings, engineering standards and GD&T requirements.Lead NPD projects using APQP methodology and timing plans.Design process sequences for cold forging, machining and related manufacturing processes.Design cold forging tools using 3D modelling software and AutoCAD.Prepare PPAP documentation, including FMEA, Control Plans, SPC and MSA.Support supplier assessments, process audits and system audits in line with IATF requirements.Plan new machinery installations, gauges and measuring instruments.Drive continuous improvement, shop-floor problem-solving, cutting-tool selection, fixture design and machine-layout planning.Preferred Candidate ProfileRelevant experience in automotive component manufacturing.Exposure to cold forging and machining processes.Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA and IATF requirements.Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.How to ApplyCandidates may send their updated resume to connect@aretecircle.in with the subject line “NPD – Process Design & Development Engineer.”We can also be reached via whatsapp in +91-7305076068Recruitment Partner: Arete Circle LLP, Where Excellence Meets Purpose.
