Nurse Manager – Emergency Department (ED/ER)Location: Dallas, TXSchedule: Full-TimeCompensation & Benefits:Salary: $51.17 – $76.75/hour, based on experienceSign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000Relocation Assistance: Case-by-CaseAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead an Emergency Department within a large, high-acuity tertiary care hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nursing leader who is passionate about emergency services, team development, quality improvement, and delivering exceptional patient care.Department Overview:41 wall beds + 16 hallway bedsApproximately 35 FTEsLarge tertiary-care hospital environmentCollaborative multidisciplinary and physician teamsKey ResponsibilitiesLead, plan, organize, delegate, and evaluate Emergency Department operations.Provide leadership and oversight for nursing staff and patient care delivery.Develop strong working relationships with physicians, employees, patients, vendors, and other stakeholders.Collaborate with hospital and department leadership to ensure compliance with nursing standards, policies, and procedures.Drive quality improvement, patient safety, operational efficiency, and exceptional patient outcomes.Partner with medical staff and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement programs that enhance patient care.Address operational, staffing, and patient-care issues effectively and efficiently.QualificationsEducation:BSN requiredAdvanced degree preferredLicensure & Certifications:Current Texas RN license or compact RN licenseBLS – AHA or ARCACLS & PALS – AHA or ARC within 6 monthsTNCC within 18 monthsENPC or CEN within 18 monthsExperience:5+ years of progressive management experienceExperience supervising and developing nursing staffBudget preparation and financial management experienceStrong physician relationship management skillsExperience resolving operational and patient-care issuesDemonstrated knowledge of quality improvementExperience coordinating multidisciplinary teamsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
