As a community-oriented agency, SILVERcare values strong relationships with clients, families, and local partners.Role Description The Nurse Supervisor/Community Coordinator is a part-time, on-site role based in Greenville, NC. Pay rate is $37 per hour starting and 16-24 hours per week with the potential for more hours. This position oversees the clinical and care coordination aspects of services for older adults, including supervising care staff, monitoring client care plans, and ensuring that services align with agency standards and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing client needs, collaborating with families and caregivers, coordinating care schedules, and providing guidance on best practices in non-medical home care. The role involves regular in-person visits to client homes or facilities, offering coaching and support to staff, and responding to client or family concerns in a timely, professional manner. The Nurse Supervisor/Community Coordinator also contributes to community outreach, builds relationships with local healthcare and social service providers, and supports continuous improvement in service delivery.QualificationsDemonstrated proficiency in Nursing relevant to older adult care, with the ability to apply clinical knowledge to non-medical home care settings.Experience in Nursing Management, including supervising care teams, supporting staff performance, and promoting quality and safety standards.Skills in Critical Care Medicine and Patient Care, with the capacity to recognize changes in client status, coordinate appropriate responses, and advocate for client well-being.Active nursing license (RN or LPN/LVN) in the state of North Carolina, or eligibility to obtain licensure.Experience in home care, long-term care, community health, or related geriatric settings is strongly preferred.Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work respectfully with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple clients, staff needs, and administrative tasks effectively.Commitment to non-discriminatory, person-centered care and adherence to all relevant ethical and regulatory standards.
