Nursery Manager

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and highly organized Nursery Manager to lead the daily operations of our early childhood centre and ensure the highest standards of care, education, safety, and parent experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery and ensure smooth functioning across all departments.Lead, support, and manage teachers, teaching assistants, administrative staff, and support teams.Maintain high standards of early years education, classroom practice, child development, and safeguarding.Ensure full compliance with KHDA and other relevant UAE early childhood regulations, policies, and inspection requirements.Monitor children’s learning, development, observations, assessments, and progression.Support curriculum implementation and ensure teaching practices remain consistent with the nursery’s educational philosophy.Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback and coaching to educators.Build strong, professional relationships with parents and handle concerns, feedback, admissions matters, and sensitive situations appropriately.Manage staff schedules, attendance, performance, training, and professional development.Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of high-quality nursery staff.Ensure all classrooms, outdoor areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas meet excellent standards of cleanliness, organization, health, and safety.Maintain accurate documentation, records, policies, incident reports, child files, and regulatory documentation.Coordinate nursery events, parent meetings, orientations, celebrations, and community activities.Work closely with the management team on admissions, occupancy, operations, marketing initiatives, and overall nursery growth.Create a warm, professional, child-centred environment where children, parents, and staff feel supported and valued.RequirementsPrevious experience in a Nursery Manager, Centre Manager, Deputy Manager, or senior leadership role within an Early Childhood Centre.Strong knowledge of early childhood education and child development.Knowledge of KHDA requirements and UAE nursery regulations is highly preferred.Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and people-management skills.Confident in dealing with parents, staff, inspections, and regulatory authorities.Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.Ability to lead a team while maintaining a positive and professional working culture.Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education, Education, Childcare, or a related field.Montessori experience or knowledge would be an advantage.Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is hands-on, proactive, warm, professional, detail-oriented, and genuinely passionate about early childhood education.
