Job SummaryThe Nursing Director is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for nursing services across the hospital. The role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care while overseeing nursing workforce performance, staffing, clinical standards, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and oversight of nursing services across all clinical departments and unitsEnsure appropriate nursing staffing, workforce utilization, competency, and performance to meet patient care and operational requirementsMonitor nursing quality indicators, patient outcomes, and patient safety standards, implementing improvement initiatives where requiredLead nursing managers and supervisors while promoting professional development, staff engagement, and a culture of clinical excellenceEnsure nursing services comply with hospital policies, accreditation standards, clinical guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or a related field is preferredValid SCFHS professional classification and registrationMinimum 8 years of nursing experienceStrong experience in nursing operations, workforce management, clinical governance, quality, and patient safetyHealthcare or hospital leadership experience is required
