Emergency Room Manager (Acute Care)Fort Walton Beach, FloridaSalary: $100,000 - $120,000A leading acute care hospital on Florida's Emerald Coast is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Manager to oversee a busy Emergency Department and provide operational and clinical leadership to a high-performing team.This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse leader who is passionate about quality patient care, staff development, operational excellence, and creating a positive patient experience.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the daily operations of the Emergency DepartmentManage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and department performanceEnsure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standardsDrive quality improvement and patient safety initiativesCollaborate with physicians, hospital leadership, and interdisciplinary teamsMentor and develop nursing staff to achieve departmental goalsMonitor and improve key emergency services metrics, including patient throughput and satisfactionRequired QualificationsActive RN licenseRecent experience within an Acute Care Hospital Emergency Department2-3+ years of recent Emergency Department leadership experience as an ER Manager or ER SupervisorStrong experience managing clinical operations, staffing, and performance improvement initiativesExcellent communication and leadership skillsPlease NoteCharge Nurse experience alone does not meet the requirements for this role.
