This leadership-oriented role is ideal for an RN who is passionate about senior care, clinical excellence, and team collaboration.ScheduleFull-TimeTuesday–Saturday OR Sunday–ThursdayFlexibility for occasional evenings/weekends as neededCompensation$100,000–$140,000 USD annually (based on experience)Role OverviewThe Nurse Manager supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical services, staff supervision, resident care coordination, medication management, and regulatory compliance. This role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality care and a safe, supportive environment for residents.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical & Administrative OversightSupervise nursing staff, caregivers, and medication assistantsProvide coverage in the absence of the Director of NursingMonitor staffing assignments and clinical coverageParticipate in interdisciplinary meetingsResident Care & DocumentationAssist with pre-admission evaluations and Individualized Service Plans (ISPs)Conduct resident assessments and document changes in conditionEnsure accurate and timely clinical documentationCoordinate care with physicians, pharmacies, hospice, rehab, and home healthMedication ManagementOversee medication ordering, storage, and administrationEnsure compliance with medication protocolsQuality Assurance & ComplianceParticipate in QA meetings and auditsMaintain compliance with policies and regulatory standardsEnsure HIPAA compliance and confidentialityCommunication & OperationsCommunicate with families and care partnersSupport resident care coordination and operational needsAssist with emergency preparedness and drillsQualificationsActive New York RN licenseBachelor’s degree preferred3+ years supervisory or leadership experience in senior living or healthcare (Senior Care or Memory Care experience preferred)Proficiency in EHR systems and Microsoft OfficeAbility to work flexible schedules Physical & Professional RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and perform repetitive hand movementsAbility to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with mobility if neededProfessional demeanor in a fast-paced environmentInterested?
