قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجTitle: Nurse Manager / DirectorSpecialty: NursingSub-Specialty: Nursing Manager/DirectorSign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000 for qualified hiresRelocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 for qualified hiresPosition SummaryThe Nurse Manager/Director is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing staffing, supplies, clinical operations, and patient care activities for assigned departments on a 24-hour basis. This role provides clinical leadership, staff development, regulatory oversight, and operational management while ensuring high standards of patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee clinical operations, staffing, scheduling, and patient care assignments.Manage departmental budgets and promote cost-effective use of staff and resources.Develop, implement, and maintain nursing policies, procedures, and standards.Lead staff orientation, training, competency validation, and professional development.Evaluate staff performance and address performance or quality-of-care concerns.Coordinate nursing activities with other departments and healthcare providers.Monitor compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, including CMS and Joint Commission requirements.Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives.Establish departmental goals and support organizational strategies.Oversee ordering and management of department supplies and equipment.Communicate operational, employee, and patient-care concerns to nursing leadership.Participate in emergency response and assume designated leadership responsibilities when required.Provide direct patient care support as needed based on departmental needs.Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment.QualificationsGraduate of an accredited school of Nursing.Current, unrestricted RN license in Alaska or another U.S. state; agency staff must hold an active Alaska RN license.Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred.BLS certification required; ACLS required within 6 months of hire and maintained thereafter.PALS and NRP preferred for OB services.Oncology or Infusion Nursing certification/course completion preferred for Infusion Services.Clinical and Manager Competencies required within 3 months of hire and every three years thereafter.Minimum 5 years of professional nursing experience preferred.Minimum 2 years of staff RN experience in the assigned specialty preferred.At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.Skills & AbilitiesStrong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and electronic health records.Ability to lead, mentor, and effectively delegate to nursing staff.Strong organizational, planning, and goal-setting abilities.Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-stress and emergency situations.Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, staff, and other healthcare professionals.Proficiency in nursing procedures and applicable clinical competencies.
