Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the OpportunityA leading outpatient surgical center is seeking an experienced and dynamic Surgical Center Manager, RN to oversee the daily operations of a fast-paced procedural environment.

This leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and staff development while serving as a hands-on clinical resource when needed.The ideal candidate is a collaborative nurse leader with strong clinical expertise, experience managing multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to quality improvement and patient safety.Key ResponsibilitiesFunction as a working manager and provide clinical support as needed to ensure seamless operations.Oversee the daily operations of the surgical center, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.Assist with planning and maintaining appropriate equipment, supplies, and resources based on procedural and physician needs.Demonstrate clinical expertise and assist providers with procedures as appropriate.Monitor quality indicators, analyze data, and report on departmental performance metrics.Drive process improvement initiatives focused on patient outcomes, safety, and operational excellence.Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, infection control, and safety standards.Maintain a safe working environment, including adherence to radiation safety and personal protective equipment requirements.Participate in Quality Assurance and Infection Control activities.Manage inventory levels and ensure adequate equipment and supplies are available for daily operations.Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and evaluate clinical and administrative staff.Oversee scheduling, staffing, and daily workflow to optimize efficiency and patient experience.Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient-centered culture.QualificationsRequiredBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.Current BLS and ACLS certifications.Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.Previous leadership or supervisory experience in an outpatient surgery center, ambulatory care, perioperative, or procedural setting preferred.Thorough understanding of regulatory and accreditation standards, including AAAHC, CLIA, OSHA, CMS, DEA, and applicable state regulations.Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Technical SkillsProficiency in nursing assessment and intravenous therapy.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.Ability to analyze clinical and operational data and implement process improvements.What We OfferCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunity to lead a highly skilled and collaborative team.Professional growth and leadership development opportunities.Supportive, patient-focused work environment.Meaningful work that positively impacts patient care and outcomes.This is a confidential search.
