NV Associate Attorney

Demler, Armstrong & Rowland LLP, a boutique 40+ year trial firm, is seeking an associate for a hybrid position in our Reno, Nevada office to work primarily with its thriving and dynamic litigation practice groups. These groups represent a variety of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, in high stakes litigation. We are looking for a motivated attorney who is an excellent writer, a strong communicator and has a desire for professional growth. Interested candidates should have 3-7 years of civil defense litigation experience and be licensed to practice Nevada.

Main Responsibilities

Participate in litigation, including depositions, mediations, and arbitrations, under the guidance of experienced mentors;Conduct thorough legal research; Draft and review pleadings, memos, briefs, motions, and position letters;Conduct written discovery, facilitate document productions;Take and defend depositions;Communicate clearly both orally and in writing;Interact with clients.Position Requirements:At least 3-7 years of Civil litigation and/or Coverage experience;Licensed to practice law in California and Nevada in good standing;J.D. from an accredited law school;Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-service-driven law firm setting; andDesire for professional growth.Position Details:Type of Role: PermanentSchedule: Full-timeCompensation & Benefits: Salary range is $120K-$180K, depending on experience.
