Backed by top-tier European & US VC firms, we're building the next-generation dating experience by blending human intuition with cutting-edge AI. After 3 years of R&D and $15M raised, our app is live in NYC and already creating meaningful connections 🥰Now we're bringing those connections into the real world — one curated event every week — and we need a sharp, organized, execution-focused Event Coordinator to run them on the ground.About the roleThis is not a planning-from-a-distance role. This is in-person, boots-on-the-ground, one event every week. You'll be our local operator in NYC. Each week we'll hand you a brief — and the format will change. One week it's an intimate 10-person curated dinner, the next it's a 300-person mixer, a Love Lab lecture, or a brand-new concept we're testing for the first time. We own ticketing, marketing, and guest communications. You own everything on the ground — and "everything" flexes with the brief. Sometimes that's venue, bar, and night-of flow. Sometimes it's also sourcing and briefing the right talent — an expert to run a Love Lab lecture, a host, a facilitator — and making sure they show up prepared and on time.Because you're closest to how each night actually plays out, you'll also feed insights back to us on venues, formats, talent, and timing that help sharpen what we build next. What you'll doTake each week's brief and translate it into a flawless event, whatever the format or sizeSource and book venues across NYC to match each concept — and flag the rooms, neighborhoods, and vibes that work best for each oneSource, book, and brief any talent a format requires — experts, speakers, hosts, facilitators — and manage them on the nightCoordinate with bar staff and event personnelManage check-in and guest flow on the nightBe the on-the-ground point of contact for everything localRun roughly one event per week, scaling smoothly between small curated gatherings, large-format mixers, lectures, and new experimental formatsShare what's working and what isn't so we can iterate togetherYou're a fit if youAre based in NYCHave run social, nightlife, or corporate events hereHave existing relationships with local venues and bar managers across multiple neighborhoodsAre reliable, proactive, and execution-obsessedCan independently manage events ranging from 10 to 300 peopleAre comfortable switching between formats week to week — including concepts that have never been run beforeCan source and manage third parties — venues, staff, and talent — and hold them to a standardCan commit to a consistent weekly cadenceBonus if youHave experience in dating, social, or singles eventsAlready have a network of local event staff, hosts, or speakers you can mobilize on short noticeHave a point of view on what makes a singles event actually workLove the idea of building something meaningful in your city from the ground up
