About the RoleProtelicious is seeking an Obesity Medicine Physician Advisor to help guide its strategy for serving people managing obesity, using GLP-1 or other anti-obesity medications, and working toward sustainable improvements in nutrition and metabolic health.The advisor will help ensure that the company’s product positioning and educational materials reflect current clinical practice while avoiding unsupported medical claims.ResponsibilitiesAdvise on nutritional needs and eating patterns among patients receiving obesity treatmentProvide insight into GLP-1-associated appetite changes and protein-intake challengesReview clinical, educational, and marketing materials for responsible positioningAdvise on relationships with obesity-medicine practices, telehealth companies, and weight-management programsSupport the development of evidence-based provider resourcesIdentify research, pilot, and clinical-partnership opportunitiesQualificationsMD or DO degreeBoard certification in a primary medical specialtyAmerican Board of Obesity Medicine certification or substantial obesity-care experience preferredExperience prescribing or managing GLP-1 and other anti-obesity therapiesInterest in nutrition, behavior change, and consumer-health innovation
