Occupational Health Doctor | MaltaWe’re hiring on behalf of a leading international client for an experienced Occupational Health Doctor to join their Occupational Health team.Are you a qualified medical doctor with experience in Occupational Medicine and primary care, and passionate about supporting employee health, workplace wellbeing, and fitness-to-work assessments? This could be an excellent opportunity to take your expertise into a dynamic, internationally focused environment.The RoleAs an Occupational Health Doctor, you will provide professional occupational health services to support employee wellbeing, manage health risks, and ensure medical assessments and recommendations are completed in line with client requirements and agreed standards.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct occupational health and medical examinations as required.Assess employees’ fitness to work and fitness to travel.Identify health risks and provide appropriate medical recommendations.Coordinate occupational health tests and ensure timely follow-up.Review, analyse and approve medical reports and findings.Provide guidance on vaccination requirements for international travel.Carry out primary care home visits when required.Provide second-opinion consultations where appropriate.Monitor and follow up with employees regarding their health assessments.Provide health education and contribute to health promotion initiatives.Advise clients, employees, Occupational Health Coordinators and network clinic personnel on medical matters.Maintain accurate medical documentation and records.Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual occupational health reporting.Support the development and review of client-focused SOPs and procedures.Work collaboratively with internal teams and third-party medical providers to ensure occupational health services are delivered effectively.What We’re Looking ForMedical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent).Certification/accreditation to practise as an Occupational Health Doctor.Ideally, postgraduate training or specialisation in Occupational Medicine.Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience, ideally covering:Occupational Medicine and workplace health managementWorkplace risk assessmentIndustrial toxicologyFitness-for-duty assessmentsPrimary medical care and diagnostic assessmentStrong analytical and critical-thinking skills.Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.Good IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.LanguagesEnglish: High proficiency required.Knowledge of French, Arabic, Spanish or Portuguese would be highly advantageous.
