Odoo Developer

We are seeking an experienced Odoo Developer (Python) to support the development, customization, integration, and optimization of our Odoo ERP system for construction business operations. The successful candidate will work closely with management, finance, HR, procurement, project management, and operations teams to enhance business processes and improve system efficiency.Key Responsibilities-Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo ERP modules using Python.Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Customize existing Odoo modules and create new modules as required.Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and internal systems.Support HR, Payroll, Procurement, Inventory, Finance, Project Management, and Asset Management modules.Develop custom reports, dashboards, and workflows.Perform data migration, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.Optimize system performance and ensure data integrity.Provide user training and technical support to end users.Prepare technical documentation and user manuals.Work closely with stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved within the contract period.Construction Industry ExperiencePreference will be given to candidates with experience in:-Construction ERP implementation.Project costing and budgeting.Material and inventory management.Plant and equipment management.Procurement and subcontractor management.Timesheet and workforce management.Job costing and project profitability reporting.QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in Odoo development.Strong proficiency in Python programming.Hands-on experience with Odoo versions 14/15/16/17.Knowledge of PostgreSQL database management.Experience with XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.Understanding of ERP business processes and workflows.Experience in construction industry ERP systems is an advantage.Technical SkillsOdoo FrameworkPythonPostgreSQLXMLREST API IntegrationGit Version ControlLinux Server EnvironmentOdoo Studio (preferred)Contract DeliverablesAssessment of existing Odoo environment.Development and deployment of required customizations.Integration of business workflows and reporting requirements.User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.Documentation and knowledge transfer before project completion.Employment TypeContract – 3 Months (Extendable)Joining RequirementImmediate availability preferred.
