Odoo Functional Consultant – POS Implementation

Short-Term Assignment | Immediate Start | 5 Working Days | Remote PossibleWe are currently looking for an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to support an urgent POS implementation project.The consultant will be responsible for configuring, validating and delivering an Odoo-based Point of Sale solution, working closely with business stakeholders to ensure all functional requirements are correctly implemented and tested.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure Odoo POS for multiple store locations and POS terminalsSet up 50–80 products, categories, SKUs, variants and pricingConfigure Inventory Management, stock locations, stock receipts, adjustments and automatic stock deductionConfigure VAT/tax rules, payment methods, receipts and transaction numberingSet up user roles and access rights for cashiers, supervisors, inventory controllers and administratorsConfigure cash opening/closing procedures and end-of-day reconciliationConfigure standard Odoo sales, inventory, cash and VAT reportsSupport accounting data mapping and validation for downstream ERP integrationPrepare and execute functional test scenarios and UATResolve configuration-related issuesDeliver end-user training, documentation and go-live supportRequired ExperienceProven hands-on Odoo POS implementation experienceStrong knowledge of Odoo InventoryExperience with retail/POS business processesGood understanding of cash management, VAT/tax configuration and reportingExperience with user/security configuration and role-based accessExposure to accounting processes and ERP integrations is preferredAbility to work independently and deliver within a tight timelineAssignment DetailsDuration: 5 working daysAllocation: 100% full-timeStart: Immediate / candidates must be immediately available
