Odoo Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Odoo Specialist to join our team and support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing development of our Odoo ERP system across multiple business functions.The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Odoo and be capable of understanding operational requirements, translating them into efficient workflows, and ensuring that the system is properly configured and adopted by users.Key ResponsibilitiesManage, configure, and optimize Odoo ERP modules based on business requirements.Analyze existing company processes and recommend improvements through Odoo.Configure workflows across modules such as:SalesCRMPurchaseInventoryAccountingHRProjectsInvoicingApprovalsCustomize Odoo workflows, reports, dashboards, fields, and user permissions.Coordinate with department heads to understand operational requirements and convert them into system solutions.Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities within existing processes.Support data migration, system configuration, testing, and implementation.Troubleshoot functional and technical issues and coordinate with developers where required.Create reports and dashboards to support management decision-making.Train employees on the correct use of Odoo and improve overall system adoption.Maintain proper user access, roles, permissions, and system controls.Document workflows, configurations, SOPs, and system changes.Support integration between Odoo and other business applications where required.Continuously evaluate new Odoo features and recommend improvements.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, ERP Management, or a related field.Proven hands-on experience working with Odoo ERP.Strong understanding of business processes across sales, procurement, inventory, finance, HR, and operations.Experience with Odoo implementation, configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into practical Odoo solutions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills and ability to work directly with different departments and management.Experience with Odoo Studio is highly preferred.Basic knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, XML, APIs, or Odoo development will be considered an advantage.Previous experience implementing Odoo within a multi-company environment will be highly preferred.Preferred Experience3+ years of relevant Odoo experienceExperience with Odoo EnterpriseMulti-company and multi-department ERP implementation experienceExperience creating automated workflows, approvals, dashboards, and management reportsExperience in Oman or the GCC is an advantageLocationMuscat, OmanHow to ApplyInterested candidates may submit their CV with the subject:Application – Odoo SpecialistCandidates are encouraged to highlight the Odoo versions and modules they have previously implemented or managed, along with examples of major Odoo projects completed.
