Odoo Technical Developer

Role Description The Odoo Technical Developer is a Part-time, remote role, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining customized Odoo modules and features that align with Jadeer’s real estate operations. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, efficient code, configuring and optimizing Odoo applications, and integrating Odoo with internal and external systems. The role involves working closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system stability and performance. The developer will also contribute to technical documentation, support deployment activities, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives for Jadeer’s digital platforms.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Programming, particularly in languages commonly used with Odoo (e.g., Python, XML, JavaScript).Candidates should possess skills in Integration, including connecting Odoo with third-party services, APIs, and internal systems.Candidates should possess skills in Databases, including experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and database optimization.Candidates should possess skills in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and related front-end technologies to customize Odoo interfaces and improve user experience.Experience with Odoo architecture, module development, and upgrade processes.Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.Strong problem-solving, debugging, and documentation skills, with attention to code quality and security.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment.
