Speedy Electric is growing, and we're looking for an organized, dependable and tech-savvy person to join our office team.This isn't just a receptionist position, we're looking for someone who can become an important part of our service team! We are currently completing the transition to a new Field Service Management program, so are looking for someone who can help with the day-to-day administration of our busy electrical contracting office while also helping us transition to our new program to make sure we continue to deliver the top notch service our clients deserve.DutiesAnswering incoming phone calls and assisting customersBooking appointments and taking accurate information for service requestsAssisting with the continued setup, organization and data entry of SimproEntering and maintaining customer, job and asset informationHelping develop and maintain organized office processes within SimproAssisting with accounts receivable and customer account follow-upProcessing and recording customer paymentsFollowing up on outstanding invoices and overdue accountsAssisting with invoicing and other administrative accounting tasksMaintaining accurate customer and job recordsFiling, scanning and general office organizationProviding administrative support to our office staff and electricians as neededWe're looking for someone who:Is highly organized and detail-orientedIs confident and friendly on the phoneIs comfortable working with computers and learning new softwareEnjoys figuring out systems and finding more efficient ways of doing thingsIs comfortable working with numbers, invoices and customer accountsCan manage multiple priorities without losing track of the detailsTakes initiative and can work independently once trainedIsn't afraid to ask questions when something doesn't make senseWorks well as part of a small, busy teamExperience with accounts receivable, QuickBooks, Simpro, bookkeeping, construction/trades administration or other job-management software would be an asset.Previous Simpro experience is NOT required.
