Team members work closely with customers to support projects from initial idea to completed product.Role Description The Office Administrator is an on-site role based in Skokie, IL, supporting daily office operations for Central Sheet Metal Products, Inc. Responsibilities include managing incoming calls and emails, greeting and assisting visitors, and providing general administrative assistance to leadership and team members. The role involves handling documentation and filing, maintaining office records, and supporting order processing and customer communication as needed. The Office Administrator will coordinate use and maintenance of office equipment, manage supplies and inventory, and assist with scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars. This position contributes to a professional, organized, and responsive office environment that supports both internal teams and external customers. Past use of E2 Shoptech & JobBoss is a huge plus!!QualificationsStrong Office Administration and Administrative Assistance skills to manage daily workflows, documentation, and internal support.Ability to operate and coordinate maintenance of Office Equipment and basic office technologies.Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with customers, vendors, and team members in a professional manner.Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with common office software (e.g., MS Office or similar tools) and comfort learning new systems.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or experience in business or administration is beneficial.Prior experience in an office or manufacturing environment is an asset, but candidates with transferable administrative skills are encouraged to apply.Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work on-site in Skokie, IL on a consistent schedule.
