They are currently delivering a major project with a healthy pipeline of projects, and are entering an exciting growth phase that has created the need for this newly established role. It is a close-knit, hands-on team where this role sits right at the centre of the business.About the RoleThis is a newly created Office Manager/Accounts support role due to business growth. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of the running of the office as well as Accounts support. Working within Jobpac, you will be a key point of contact for the business's external bookkeeper and Accountant. This is a genuine chance to make the role your own from day one.DutiesPrepare and code financial transactions accurately across current and upcoming construction projects.Work closely with the Managing Director to provide timely, accurate financial information and reporting.Act as the key internal point of contact for the business's external bookkeeper and accountant.Being the first point of contact for incoming calls, visitors, and general office enquiriesCoordinating office maintenance and liaising with building management or suppliers as neededOrganising team events, celebrations, and other culture-building activitiesManaging meeting room bookings and preparing for client or site visitsOnboarding logistics for new starters, such as desk setup, equipment, and accessMaintaining a tidy, organised, and functional office environmentCoordinating travel bookings and diary support for the Managing Director as neededManaging incoming and outgoing mail and deliveriesKeeping office policies and procedures documents up to dateAssisting with basic HR administration, such as leave tracking or maintaining staff recordsRequirementsDemonstrated experience working within Jobpac is essential.Proven experience within construction or another project-based industry is highly desirableStrong attention to detail and confidence in coding and processing transactions accurately.A proactive, energetic approach, with the confidence to bring structure and positive energy to a close-knit team.Full, ongoing working rights in Australia
