Office Manager

If you take real pride in ownership, thrive in the buzz of a scale-up, and want a platform to grow with a winning culture, we want to meet you.Your responsibilities will include:Leading the day-to-day running of the office, creating an organised, efficient and welcoming workplaceSupporting the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, HR administration, maintaining employee records and coordinating trainingActing as the first point of contact for HR queries while supporting managers with people processes and ensuring HR complianceSupporting finance activities, including processing invoices, VAT/Tax, managing expenses, reconciling company cards, assisting with payroll and liaising with external accountantsManaging office budgets, supplier relationships and purchasing to ensure the business operates efficiently and cost-effectivelyCoordinating company facilities, equipment, IT support, office supplies and health & safety requirementsOrganising team meetings, company events and initiatives that help create a positive and engaging workplace cultureReviewing, improving and implementing processes, policies and systems that support business growth and operational excellenceProviding administrative support to the leadership team, helping priorities stay on track and projects move forwardBuilding trusted relationships across the business and becoming the go-to person who keeps everything running behind the scenesWhy Ascendo?Work directly with the founders - you'll be at the centre of the business, not the edge of itWe're early, so you get real ownership, faster progression, and a genuine say in how we build and scale our workspace and cultureWe're growing fast - no two days look the same, there's always something new to buildPhenomenal platform to grow - take on more, learn quickly, and progress as the company does
