Pushing to electrify Canada's roads for a cleaner, greener future!We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and dependable Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our office and help ensure our team runs smoothly and efficiently. This role will manage office administration, supplies and vendors, coordinate meetings and events, support onboarding and employee needs, and assist with various operational and administrative projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, professional, and comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced environment.This is a full-time, onsite position, out of our offices in downtown Vancouver. Hours: 8:30AM - 5PMResponsibilities:Maintain and organize the office environment, with a particular focus on keeping the kitchen cleanOrder and maintain all office supplies and fulfill related requestsPerform errands, including driving the company car for executive team lunches, office groceries, supplies runs and other ad hoc tasksMaintenance and coordination of company vehicles, including servicing, insurance, cleanliness and booking between staffCoordinate weekly team lunches, event planning, and client meetingsPerform data entry and follow up with vendors via phone and emailBe the point-of-contact for building and facilities, including fire warden dutiesSchedule and book all required business travel for the sales team, including accommodations, flights, car rentals, and reservationsCommunicate with vendors for preferred rates on goods and services, all whilst maintaining a mindset of prudent spendingManaging recognition of all birthdays, work anniversaries, and other meaningful life events, which includes reminders to the executive team and purchasing giftsSchedule meetings with business vendors and occasional assistance to executive support team to help book family / personal appointmentsCoordinate with other assistants in the support team to ensure tasks are complete in a timely fashionBe the gate keeper and answer our office line with a positive demeanorKeep track of office expenditures and coordinate with the accounting team on invoices and receiptsRequired Attributes:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detail is a must with the ability to articulate clearlySelf-starter attributes, motivated and hardworkingAdaptability to work in a constantly changing and highly demanding environmentVibrant and professional demeanorAble to present a polished appearance in a formal business environmentProficiency in the MS Office suiteTeam player with a can-do attitudeEducation and Experience:An undergraduate degree or higher level of educationMinimum 2 to 3 years of similar executive or office management experienceComfortable using cloud and Android applications: WhatsApp, Google Apps (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs,) Box, Salesforce, LinkedIn, and SlackValid BC Driver's LicenseWhat We Have to Offer:Competitive salary and potential for bonuses;Competitive benefits package including Medical / Dental coverage and Health Care Spending Account;Benefits including: weekly catered lunches, health & wellness perks, fun team events, and daily healthy snacks.How to Apply:Please apply directly through LinkedIn.
