Apply & track with Apply EdgeReports to: Senior Manager, Special Projects, Educational Development and AssessmentPurpose: The job holder will provide basic pedagogical support and assessment expertise to faculty for the enhancement of teaching and learning. Support team members in working with faculty to design instructional strategies. Conduct formative assessments of teaching effectiveness. The role involves designing and facilitating workshops for graduate students and teaching assistants and offering pedagogical and course design consultations.
Responsibilities
Pedagogical Consultancy: Provide basic pedagogical and instructional consultancy to faculty on various topics, such as course design, active learning, student engagement, and othersSupport Educational Development and Assessment (EDA) team to develop appropriate instructional and assessment strategies for different contexts and disciplines as neededSupport faculty in the planning and design of instructional materials and tools to meet specific teaching and learning objectivesAssessment Activities: Participate in conducting formative assessments of learning and teachingContribute to the implementation of different assessment tools to enhance teaching and learning in the classroomReport on the results of some EDA assessment activitiesTraining sessions, Workshops and Online Resources: Propose and design new workshop ideas for Teaching Assistants and Graduate Students to enhance teaching and learningSupport EDA team in reviewing and updating EDA online content and online modules materialSupport EDA team to facilitate professional development workshops for facultyAdditional Related Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum Education Requirements:Bachelor’s degree is required Experience:A minimum of three to five years of experience Having work experience in an educational field is a plusExperience with training and development in an educational environment is a plusSkills:Technical: Strong knowledge of MS Office, Google applications and Learning Management Systems (LMS)Pedagogical: Knowledge of pedagogy and instructional design principles is a plusCommunication: Excellent written and spoken EnglishProfessional report writing is a plusAnalytical: Research and data analysis skillsThis position is open until September 30, 2026Placement is based on the candidate’s experience and skills.
