قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجAbout the JobRole DescriptionAn Oilfield Logistics Assistant / Drilling Site Support Technician supports oilfield, drilling, logistics, and field operations teams to ensure equipment, materials, tools, and supplies are available safely and on schedule.The role involves coordinating materials and transportation, maintaining inventory records, supporting drilling-site activities, assisting with equipment preparation and inspections, and completing operational documentation.The position is suitable for candidates with backgrounds in Oil & Gas, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Operations, Maintenance, or related fields. Previous experience in oilfield services, drilling, logistics, warehousing, construction, mining, or industrial operations is an advantage. Fresh graduates may also be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesOilfield Logistics AssistantAssist with coordinating equipment, tools, spare parts, consumables, and materials required for drilling and field operations.Coordinate with warehouses, suppliers, transport companies, logistics providers, and field teams.Track orders, shipments, deliveries, equipment movements, and outstanding material requirements.Assist with arranging transportation and timely delivery of equipment and materials to field locations.Check deliveries against purchase orders, packing lists, and delivery documents.Report shortages, damaged items, incorrect deliveries, or other discrepancies.Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock checks and reconciliation.Prepare material lists, equipment manifests, delivery notes, and logistics reports.Assist with equipment and material mobilization and demobilization.Follow up with suppliers and transport providers regarding delivery schedules and delays.Communicate logistics updates to supervisors and field personnel.Assist in resolving material shortages, transportation issues, and delivery delays.Drilling Site Support TechnicianSupport drilling crews, technicians, engineers, and site supervisors with daily field activities.Assist with preparation, movement, storage, and organization of tools, equipment, materials, and supplies.Perform basic visual inspections and report damaged, defective, leaking, or abnormal equipment.Assist with basic cleaning, lubrication, preparation, and maintenance activities under supervision.Support loading, unloading, positioning, and movement of materials using approved procedures.Maintain clean and organized work areas, workshops, storage areas, and drilling-site facilities.Track tools, equipment, spare parts, and consumables used at the site.Record equipment inspections, material movements, maintenance activities, and site requirements.Assist with site mobilization and demobilization activities.Support technicians and engineers during equipment preparation and maintenance.Report safety hazards, spills, equipment faults, and abnormal conditions immediately.Follow site procedures, work instructions, permits, and supervisor directions.Safety & ComplianceMaintain a strong safety-first approach at all times.Follow company, client, drilling-site, HSE, and environmental requirements.Attend site inductions, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and required training.Wear required PPE in operational areas.Follow safe procedures around heavy machinery, vehicles, lifting operations, chemicals, and drilling equipment.Report incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, spills, and equipment defects immediately.Follow applicable permit-to-work, lifting, lockout/tagout, confined-space, and site-access procedures.Maintain good housekeeping and environmental standards.Do not operate specialized equipment without proper training and authorization.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.Diploma or bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Oil & Gas, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Operations, or a related field is an advantage.Technical or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, maintenance, industrial, or oilfield disciplines is an advantage.Previous experience in oil and gas, drilling, logistics, warehousing, construction, mining, or industrial operations is preferred.Experience with inventory control, material handling, equipment support, or field operations is an advantage.Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, industrial, drilling, or oilfield equipment.Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.Good organizational, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Ability to follow technical instructions, checklists, and safety procedures.Responsible, reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Willingness to work day/night shifts, weekends, public holidays, and extended hours when required.Willingness to work at remote, industrial, drilling, warehouse, and field locations.Ability to stand, walk, climb, and perform physical duties for extended periods.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Willingness to complete required HSE and technical training.Relevant HSE, first-aid, lifting, equipment-operation, or oilfield certifications are an advantage.Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to field locations are an advantage.Fluency in English is preferred;
