OLT Technical Support Engineer

Job ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for OLT and FTTx access network deployment, commissioning, operation, and maintenance.Perform OLT configuration, troubleshooting, alarm analysis, and performance monitoring for GPON/EPON networks.Troubleshoot OLT, ONT/ONU, PON, uplink, and related access network issues, and provide timely technical solutions.Support network integration, service provisioning, software upgrades, configuration backup, and fault recovery.Analyze network logs, alarms, and performance data to identify root causes and improve network stability.Work closely with NOC, field engineers, project teams, and customers to resolve technical issues and support project delivery.Provide technical guidance and documentation for OLT operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.Support technical communication with telecom operators and participate in customer meetings when required.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree or above in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.3+ years of experience in OLT/FTTx technical support, network operations, or related telecommunications roles.Good knowledge of GPON/EPON technology and FTTx access networks.Hands-on experience with OLT configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.Familiarity with OLT/ONT equipment, PON, Ethernet, VLAN, DHCP, PPPoE, and related network technologies.Experience with major telecom operators or FTTx projects is preferred.Good troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and project teams.Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
