Team members are encouraged to bring fresh ideas, adapt to changing media trends, and contribute to a dynamic studio environment.Role DescriptionThe On-Air Studio Host & Presenter will be responsible for hosting live and recorded radio shows, introducing music and programs, and engaging listeners through clear and confident on-air communication. Day-to-day tasks include preparing show rundowns, selecting and cueing music and entertainment segments, conducting on-air interviews, and providing commentary that aligns with the station’s format and brand. The role involves coordinating with producers and technical staff, monitoring studio equipment during broadcasts, and adhering to programming schedules and regulatory guidelines. The Host & Presenter will also support audience interaction via calls, messages, and social platforms to build listener loyalty. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Utako.QualificationsCandidates should possess skills in Broadcasting to manage live shows, follow programming formats.Candidates should possess skills as a Radio Host with strong on-air presence, clear articulation, and the ability to connect with diverse audiences.Candidates should possess skills in Entertainment programming to develop engaging show features, interviews, and topical discussions.Strong verbal communication, improvisation, and storytelling abilities.Comfort working in a fast-paced studio environment with live deadlines and time-sensitive content.Prior on-air, podcasting, or media presentation experience is highly beneficial.Relevant education or training in media, communications, performing arts, or related fields is an advantage.Application ProcessQualified candidates are invited to submit their CV and media portfolio/showreel to dev@genuslabtechnologies.com.
