Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting between Spanish and English for patients, clients, and staff; ensuring accurate and culturally sensitive communication; and maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies. The On-site Spanish Interpreter will support appointments, consultations, meetings, and other in-person encounters, accurately conveying spoken information without omission or addition. The role may involve collaborating with coordinators and service teams, documenting completed sessions when required, and participating in ongoing training to maintain high standards of interpretation quality.QualificationsStrong skills in Interpreting and Language Services, with the ability to facilitate clear, accurate communication between Spanish and English.Fluent, professional-level command of Spanish and English, both spoken and written.Strong cultural competence, active listening skills, and the ability to remain impartial and professional at all times.Previous experience as an on-site interpreter, preferably in healthcare or social services, is highly beneficial.
