Apply & track with Apply EdgeThis is an excellent opportunity for a research professional with experience mentoring or leading a small team who is ready to grow into a supervisory role.ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day activities of the clinical research team, including workflow, productivity, staffing, and study priorities.Provide guidance, mentorship, training, and support to research team members.Serve as a resource and subject matter expert for the research team, identifying and resolving operational barriers.Support onboarding, preceptorship, team development, and performance management.Promote a positive, collaborative team environment through regular communication and engagement with staff.Oversee clinical research operations to ensure quality, participant safety, protocol compliance, and regulatory requirements are maintained.Coordinate and support the execution of oncology clinical research protocols from start-up through study completion.Develop, maintain, and reinforce SOPs and standardized research processes.Partner with operations leadership, study intake teams, research services, sponsors, and other stakeholders to support efficient study start-up and execution.Monitor clinical supplies, equipment, and inventory to ensure the team is adequately supported.Identify opportunities to improve workflows, team performance, and overall research operations.Qualifications2+ years of clinical research experience, with oncology research experience strongly preferred.Open to candidates with either a CRC or CRN background.Experience mentoring, training, precepting, or providing day-to-day leadership to other research staff.Demonstrated understanding of clinical trial coordination, participant safety, documentation, and protocol compliance.Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical research environment.CRN candidates must hold an active RN license.Experience with SOPs, study start-up, quality oversight, or process improvement is a plus.Ideal CandidateThis role is designed for a CRC or CRN with oncology research experience who has already begun taking on leadership responsibilities and is ready to move into a formal supervisory position.Apply today to learn more about this opportunity.
