In this role, tutors deliver high-quality online lessons from Statesside’s UAE location to learners seeking academic support, test preparation, and skill development across various subjects. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting interactive sessions, adapting teaching methods to individual learning styles, assigning and reviewing homework, and tracking student progress. Tutors collaborate with Statesside’s education team to align lesson content with international curricula and program standards, communicate regularly with learners and guardians about performance, and maintain accurate records of attendance and achievement. The role also involves using digital tools for virtual instruction, participating in training to stay current with best practices in online education, and contributing to a supportive, learner-centered environment.QualificationsStrong subject-matter expertise in one or more academic areas (e.g., mathematics, sciences, languages, business, or test preparation) and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.Proficiency in online teaching tools and virtual classroom platforms, with the ability to integrate digital resources into engaging lesson plans.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including clear written and spoken English and the ability to build rapport with diverse learners.Effective classroom and time management skills, including lesson planning, progress monitoring, and maintaining organized student records.Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching approaches to different age groups, learning levels, and cultural backgrounds.Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area; teaching certification or tutoring experience is highly beneficial.Experience in online or blended learning environments and familiarity with international curricula or exam boards is an advantage.Commitment to learner success, professional integrity, and continuous improvement in teaching practice.
