Open-Rank Faculty Position in Clinical, Counselling or School Psychology

Neapolis University Pafos (NUP) invites applications for one full-time, open-rank academic position in an applied field of Psychology, with specialisation in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology and/or School Psychology.Appointments may be made at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, depending on the qualifications and academic record of the successful candidate.NUP is a fully recognised and accredited university in Cyprus, committed to academic excellence, research, innovation, and social contribution. The Department of Psychology offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes through conventional and distance-learning modes.Key responsibilities include:• Teaching Psychology courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, through conventional and/or distance-learning delivery.• Developing and coordinating courses and educational material in line with quality-assurance standards.• Supervising undergraduate dissertations, master’s theses, doctoral dissertations, and professional placements, as appropriate to rank and specialisation.• Maintaining an active programme of high-quality research, including publication in reputable international peer-reviewed journals.• Developing national and international research collaborations and contributing to externally funded research projects.• Contributing to programme development, evaluation, accreditation, quality assurance, student support, departmental administration, and community engagement activities.Required qualifications and experience:• A PhD in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, School Psychology, or a closely related applied field of Psychology.• A licence to practise as a psychologist in the Republic of Cyprus in the relevant specialisation, or fulfilment of the criteria required to obtain such a licence.• Previous academic teaching experience and a demonstrated record of research and scholarly contribution commensurate with the academic rank sought.• Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
