Responsibilities include assisting with patient positioning and preparation, maintaining aseptic techniques, monitoring equipment functionality, and coordinating with nurses and surgeons before, during, and after procedures. The technician will also help with post-operative room turnover, inventory management, and basic documentation related to equipment and supplies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Srinagar, requiring consistent presence in the operating theatre environment and close collaboration with clinical staff.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong technical production skills relevant to operating theatre setup, equipment handling, and sterile procedures.Candidates should possess skills in lighting and basic operating room environment control to support optimal visibility and safety during procedures.Candidates should possess customer service skills to interact respectfully and professionally with patients, families, and multidisciplinary staff.Candidates should possess performing arts-related skills only insofar as they demonstrate poise under pressure, coordination, and the ability to follow precise instructions.Formal training or certification as an Operation Theatre Technician or in surgical technology from a recognized institution.Knowledge of infection control practices, sterilization techniques, and operation theatre safety protocols.Ability to work in shifts, stand for extended periods, and handle physically demanding tasks in a high-pressure clinical environment.Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and support staff.
