قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجA leading development finance client of ours, with a strong regional presence, is currently seeking to hire an Operational Control & Analytics Expert, in Saudi Arabia.The Operational Control & Analytics Expert should provide the first-line operational control and the analytical engine that underpin balance-sheet management. They independently control Treasury’s trades, positions and P&L, monitor operational limits, and own the ALM analytics (NII, EVE, VaR, gap, duration) and forecasting that feed decision-making and ALCO.The role sits in the first line of defence — measuring, validating and controlling Treasury execution, and feeding the independent Risk function in the second line.Responsibilities:Operational Control (First Line of Defence)Perform daily trade-capture control, deal verification, valuation checks and end-of-day position reconciliations.Monitor first-line adherence to operational and policy limits (position, counterparty, portfolio) and escalate breaches.Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and the delegation of authority; investigate and clear breaks within agreed timelines.Analytics & Modelling (Owner of the Analytics Engine)Build, run and maintain the liquidity forecasting model and the ALM analytics suite: NII, EVE, VaR, repricing gap, duration and interest-rate / FX sensitivity.Produce disbursement forecasting and Net Cash Requirement inputs for the Front Office.Conduct stress testing and scenario / what-if analysis on the balance sheet.Maintain model assumptions, documentation and the analytics lifecycle for audit and independent validation.Data, Systems & ReportingManage Treasury market-data feeds (curves, fixings, volatility surfaces) and system parameterization.Own data governance and quality across Treasury systems; act as key interface with IT for system enhancements (SAP TRM; target Capital Markets System).Produce operational-control dashboards and the ALCO reporting pack (templates and KPIs across liquidity, funding, ALM and investment).CoordinationInterface with the Front Office (first-line execution), Risk (second-line independent review and challenge), Finance (valuation and reconciliation) and Audit (third line of defence).Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Financial or Risk Engineering, Mathematics or a related quantitative field, a master’s degree is preferred.Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in middle office, treasury operational control, product control or ALM / quantitative analytics within a major bank or MDB.Deep familiarity with middle-office control frameworks, limit monitoring, trade-lifecycle mechanics and TMS integration.Strong ALM analytics (NII / EVE / gap / duration), stress testing and P&L / position control; SQL / Python data modelling.FRM or CFA certification is a strong asset.Proficiency in English is a must in addition to Arabic and/or French; proficiency in both is preferredQuantitative & Analytical Ability: builds and interprets balance-sheet risk metrics and forecasts.Control Mindset & Attention to Detail: precision in P&L, reconciliation and limit monitoring.Integrity and Independence: objective first-line control feeding the three lines of defence.Data & Systems Fluency: data governance, TMS and market-data feeds, SQL / Python.Communication and Teamwork: effective collaboration across Front Office, Risk, Finance and Audit.Rigour: disciplined documentation and model validation.Accuracy and timeliness of P&L, position control and reconciliations.No unescalated limit breaches.Reliability and independent-validation status of ALM analytics and models.Data integrity across Treasury systems and market-data feeds.Quality and timeliness of the ALCO reporting pack.Contractual Information:Willing and able to relocate to Saudi Arabia for the opportunity.
