Apply & track with Apply EdgeOperations AdministratorIndustry: Marine Logistics, Terminal Operations & Port ServicesLocation: Manatee, Florida | Primarily On-SiteSalary: $50,000–$70,000/yr, DOEAbout the OpportunityA growing marine logistics and terminal operations company is seeking an experienced Operations Administrator to support its expanding operations in Manatee, Florida.This is a key support role working closely with the Director of Operations and operational teams to help maintain efficient day-to-day operations, organize critical documentation, coordinate administrative processes, and support the continued growth of the business.The ideal candidate has experience in maritime, terminal, port, stevedoring, marine logistics, or a related environment and understands the pace, demands, and complexities of operational businesses.This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, proactive professional who enjoys a hands-on role and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a primary point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders.Support workforce coordination, scheduling, and time-off administration.Maintain and organize operational documentation, including permits, contracts, and records.Support logistics documentation, including Bills of Lading and shipping records.Assist with invoice coordination and related financial documentation.Coordinate office administration, supplies, and internal communication.Support leadership and operational teams with day-to-day administrative needs.Assist with identifying and implementing improvements to administrative and operational processes.Provide support for special projects and evolving business initiatives.Ensure documentation, communication, and administrative processes remain organized and efficient.Qualifications3–5+ years of experience in operations administration, office administration, logistics support, or a related field.Prior experience within maritime, port, terminal, stevedoring, marine logistics, or a related environment is required.Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Experience managing operational records, permits, contracts, and related documentation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and operational teams.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift.Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
