Operations & Project Management Intern

Babylon is looking for a highly organised and proactive intern to help with the day-to-day management and development of Babylon, a multicultural media and community platform based in Dublin.Babylon supports international communities through practical information, digital content, radio, events, and community projects. We are currently developing the platform further and need someone who can help keep projects moving, organise tasks, follow up with team members, and support the overall management of the organisation.This role would suit someone interested in project management, media, startups, community work, digital platforms, or multicultural organisations.Main responsibilitiesThe intern will help with:Coordinating tasks across content, web development, social media, radio, and eventsFollowing up with team members and keeping projects on trackHelping organise schedules, meetings, task lists, and deadlinesSupporting the management of volunteers and internsAssisting with planning and improving Babylon’s systems and workflowsTracking progress on website development, content creation, and migration projectsHelping prepare internal updates, reports, and action plansSupporting event planning and community initiativesIdentifying problems early and helping make sure work is completed properlyIdeal candidateWe are looking for someone who is:Very organised and reliableGood at communication and follow-upComfortable working with people from different culturesInterested in media, community, migration, digital platforms, or startupsAble to take initiative and solve problemsConfident using tools such as Google Workspace, Trello or similar platformsInterested in learning how a real organisation is managed and developedPrevious experience is helpful but not essential.
