Company details will be shared with candidates moving forward in the interview process.About the OpportunityWe're partnering with an established global consumer brand headquartered in Japan to identify an experienced Operations & Supply Chain Manager to support the continued growth of its U.S. business.This is an opportunity to do much more than manage day-to-day operations. You'll take ownership of key operational functions, work closely with executive leadership in both the U.S. and Japan, and help build the systems, processes, and supply chain infrastructure needed to support future growth.If you enjoy solving complex operational challenges, improving business performance, and making a measurable impact, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoAs the Operations & Supply Chain Manager, you'll oversee the end-to-end operational flow of the business while driving continuous improvement across supply chain, logistics, inventory management, and internal processes.Your responsibilities will include:Supply Chain & Inventory Management • Lead demand forecasting and inventory planning • Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess stock • Identify supply chain risks and develop proactive solutions • Analyze operational data and forecast trends to support business decisions • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Japan HQ on planning activitiesLogistics & Operations • Manage domestic and international logistics operations • Oversee 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and vendor relationships • Monitor operational performance and improve service levels • Ensure efficient inventory movement and operational executionProcess Improvement • Evaluate and improve operational workflows and business processes • Develop KPIs, reporting, and operational dashboards • Improve inventory visibility and operational efficiency • Recommend and implement new systems and process improvementsLeadership & Collaboration • Lead and develop the Operations team • Partner directly with executive leadership and Japan HQ • Support new product launches and cross-functional initiatives • Prepare operational reports and business recommendationsWhat We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications • Business-level or higher proficiency in both English and Japanese • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience • 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, inventory management, or related fields • Experience with demand forecasting and inventory planning • Experience managing inventory, logistics, and operational processes • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Experience using ERP, inventory management, or similar business systems • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferred Qualifications • Experience working with Japan HQ or international organizations • Experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers • Experience leading teams or mentoring employees • Experience implementing operational improvements or new business systems • Experience supporting business growth through scalable operational processesWhy You'll Enjoy This RoleThis is an opportunity to: • Own and influence end-to-end U.S. operations • Work directly with executive leadership and Japan headquarters • Play a key role in operational strategy and business growth • Lead projects that improve systems, processes, and efficiency • Join a collaborative and growing international organization • Build scalable solutions instead of simply maintaining existing processes • Make a visible impact on business performanceCompensation & Benefits • Competitive compensation with target annual earnings of approximately $83,000–$91,000, depending on experience and qualifications • Performance bonuses (twice per year) • Profit-sharing bonus • Company-paid individual medical, dental, and vision insurance • 50% family medical coverage • Company-sponsored life insurance • Retirement plan with employer contribution • Paid time off and company holidays • Professional development and career growth opportunitiesReady to Apply?If you're a bilingual operations professional who enjoys improving business performance, optimizing supply chains, and building scalable operational processes, we'd love to hear from you.Please submit your resume along with a brief introduction highlighting your relevant experience.Qualified candidates will be contacted regarding the next steps in the interview process.Equal Opportunity EmployerWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
