Operations Analyst

Our client is an investment banking firm. They seek an Operations Analyst to join their Manhattan, NY office.ResponsibilitiesProcess domestic and international trade allocations, bookings, and settlements across multiple asset classes using electronic trading platformsMonitor trade lifecycles from execution through settlement, investigating and resolving exceptions to ensure timely completionReconcile daily trading activity, cash, and position balances while researching and resolving operational breaksMaintain client static data, including settlement instructions, account details, commission schedules, and reference dataCoordinate new client onboarding, account setup, and documentation for institutional clients and managed accountsSupport regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring accurate transaction reporting and operational complianceCollaborate with Trading, Sales, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and external counterparties to resolve trade and settlement issuesTrack production issues, system enhancements, and testing activities, including user acceptance testing for new releasesAnalyze operational workflows and recommend process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce risk, and strengthen controlsPrepare operational reports, performance metrics, and ad hoc analyses to support business operations and management decision-makingRequirementsBachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Business, or related discipline3+ years of relevant experience in Operations, Middle Office, Settlements, or trade supportFinancial services industry requiredUnderstanding of the trade lifecycleStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracyClient‑focused and results‑drivenProven self-starter with a high level of motivation and enthusiasm, consistently delivering resultsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSeries 7 or SIE and Series 99 preferred; must obtain the required licenses within three months of hirePlease note*: Hours are 8-5pm fully in office during training period.
